    Yog is also a “cleanser”

On reading a web page based providing info on “YOG”, the following is the matter that I replied to them:-

I am overwhelmed about the fact that though the British coaxed English and their life-style down our thought, the good was practiced in the West; if it hadn’t to be Yogi Sri Ramdev Baba, minds in Bharat would have had to learn its own ancestral sustainable fitness techniques from the intruders.

Hoping that this 5000 years old eternal gift of Yogi Sri Patanjali helps each one of you in the West to realize the kind of disaster your ancestors have done to this land of the saints for no rhyme or reason. In a so called independent country where a concept called “congress” founded by the Brutal British still works on the same lines in today’s India, whose original name was BHARAT, minds that were “devoted to light as against darkness”. The name “Bharat” is a representation in nature revealing the fact that the whole country was highly enlightened; spiritually.

Dude, don’t “flick” things. If you “found” it on the internet, properly attribute the source with a link so that the original guy who made the effort and research gets credit.

And a name doesn’t “reveal the fact” of the entity so named. A person named “Ajay” doesn’t reveal the fact that he is unconquerable. My name is “prasanna”, but as you can see, I am a curmudgeon.

    1) Bha from Bhav : Feeling
    2) Ra from Rag : Passion/ as in Hindustani Classical
    3) T from Tal : Rhythm

  31. Bha..or pratibha…does mean inner Light, usually the Light of Awakened awareness or Jagruti. The Light of Knowledge that is beneficial for the self and others. The Light within that defines a human being who has advanced in spiritual terms, and is now aware of Life. rat comes from Rati meaning deep passion or attachment, or raag. This therefore in simple terms means that which is deeply fond of and attached to Light that helps humanity. What a beautiful name for our Nation. On this 26 January 2013, may we affirm: Tava shubha namey jaagey, Tava shubha ashish maangey, Gaaye tava Jaya Gaatha.
May the masses come back to the Light within, and see the true beauty of the peoples within this Nation.
